Participation

This is an entertainment project, not an assessment of anyone’s intelligence. Participants must be adults and must have permission to submit the content and represent any named brand. You remain responsible for your submissions.

Permission to display

By submitting a nomination, you authorize the project to review and display its headline, story, category, optional profile graphic, and submitted website link for this project. Publication is not automatic. You may request removal through the reporting process. No broader transfer of intellectual property is intended.

Moderation

The committee may decline, remove, or restrict content and participation for violations of the house rules, lack of consent, manipulation, or other legitimate concerns. There is no paid removal service.

Contributions and recognition

Contributions are one-time, noncharitable commercial payments to the operator of Dumbest Alive for ranking credit on an eligible nomination. They are not tax-deductible charitable donations. Each confirmed $1 adds one point, including proportional credit for cents, under the house rules. Funds are not paid to nominees. No cash prize, financial return, ownership right, guaranteed position, or guaranteed audience is offered. Rankings may change as other people contribute or adjustments are made.

Payment and refund terms

Checkout opens only after payment setup. The amount shown at checkout is the one-time amount charged in USD. Ranking credit follows payment confirmation, not a return from checkout. Request help or a refund at support@dumbestalive.com with your contribution reference. We refund duplicate charges and payments for which ranking credit was not delivered. If the project removes an entry, you may request a refund of contributions you made to it. Other requests are reviewed individually; mandatory consumer rights continue to apply. A refund reduces ranking credit. Pending refunds are withheld from totals until resolved.

Entire contributions under an active or lost payment dispute are excluded from ranking. Their unrefunded credit may be restored when the dispute is won or otherwise closed without loss. Removing a nomination from display does not itself issue a refund. Advertising campaigns require separately agreed scope, price, delivery, cancellation, and refund terms.

Availability and rights

This is a developing service and availability is not guaranteed. Nothing here removes mandatory consumer rights or claims that the project has immunity from legal claims. Read the house rules and privacy notice before submitting.
